INTRODUCTION

This policy explains how Secret Friend Match collects, uses, shares and protects your data.

• User-provided: email, username, date of birth (for age verification), preferences, in-app choices.

• Generated during use: AI conversation history, scenario progress, hearts earned, in-app purchases.

• Technical: Firebase ID, security tokens (Play Integrity, App Check), anonymized logs.

• Rewarded ads (only if explicit consent given): ad ID, IP (possibly truncated), device info, engagement events. Collected by ad provider (Google AdMob, possibly AppLovin) to validate delivery and reward. If you refuse advertising consent, no ad-related data is collected.

DATA COLLECTED

• Create and secure your account.

• Verify your age (18+ requirement) using your date of birth.

• Provide personalized conversations and scenarios.

• Unlock premium content and manage purchases.

• Prevent fraud (Play Integrity, App Check).

• Improve the app via aggregated statistics.

• Deliver rewarded videos (only with consent), measure completion and prevent ad fraud.

PURPOSES

LEGAL BASIS

Contract execution and legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, improvement). For age verification: legal obligation. For rewarded ads: explicit consent required - personalized ads only if consent given; otherwise no ads shown.

• Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Functions, App Check).

• Google Play Billing (in-app purchases).

• Google Cloud (Vertex AI) for AI responses.

• Google AdMob (and possibly AppLovin) for rewarded video ads (only if consent given).

RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSORS

No data is sold or shared with commercial third parties.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

To provide AI chat messages and live voice calls, your data (conversation content, voice data) is transferred to the United States for processing by our AI providers (Google Cloud, OpenAI). These transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of protection for your personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

RETENTION

Conversations and progress kept while account active. Date of birth is retained for age verification purposes. You can request deletion at any time.

SECURITY

App Check, Play Integrity, TLS encryption, restricted access. No method is 100% secure but we minimize risks.

YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)

Access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection. You can withdraw your advertising consent at any time by refusing when prompted. Contact us by email.

MINORS

Secret Friend Match is strictly for users 18 and over. We verify age using date of birth and do not knowingly collect data from users under 18.
